Motor Protection System Check
Motor Protection System Verification
Verify terminal box type and corresponding protection mechanism
Is the thermal tripping setting corresponding to the maximum current of the speed stage?
Is the Wilo tripping unit SK 602(N)/SK 622(N) present?
Is the thermal winding contact (WSK) connected to a motor protection system?
Reset Procedures
Perform reset based on terminal box type
Electrical Connection Check
Pre-Work Safety Measures
Ensure all poles of the power supply are disconnected before working on the pump
Wait for 5 minutes before commencing work on the module (applies only to 1~ systems)
Voltage and Connection Verification
Check that all connections (including potential-free contacts) are voltage-free
Is the module/terminal box undamaged?
Does the current type and voltage of the mains connection correspond to the specifications on the rating plate?
Connection and Cable Requirements
Ensure the electrical connection is established via a fixed connection line with a connector device or an all-pole switch with a contact opening width of at least 3 mm
Pump Maintenance
8.1 Filling and Venting
Switch off the pump
Close the check valve on the pressure side
Protect electrical parts from any escaping water
Carefully open the venting screw using a suitable tool
Is the necessary inlet pressure present at the suction side of the pump?
Carefully push back the motor shaft with a screwdriver several times
Wait for 15 to 30 seconds before screwing the venting screw back in
Screw the venting screw back in
Condensate Drain Check
7.1 Installation / 7.1.3 Insulation
Ensure the following protections are in place for the pump
Check that condensate drain openings are clear and unobstructed
Verify that insulation has not been applied beyond the motor separation joint
Motor Maintenance
9.1 Dismantling/installation of the motor
Read the chapters 'Dismantling/installation of the motor' and 'Decommissioning' before maintenance
Comply with safety instructions in chapters 2.6, 7, and 8
Prepare the pump for dismantling
Is the entire system drained if no check valves are fitted?
Observe manufacturer's information and safety data sheets on possible additives
Comply with national regulations for accident prevention to avoid injury from falling motor
Ensure motor head is not held with the impeller facing downward during installation/dismantling
Is the motor rotated to the desired position without complete removal if only the terminal box is repositioned?
