Light Source Cleaning
Preparation
Turn power off
Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet
Disconnect the power cord from the Welch Allyn Light Source
Cleaning External Surfaces
Select cleaning/disinfecting solution used
Wipe external surfaces with the selected solution
Cleaning Power Cord
Wipe power cord with the selected cleaning/disinfecting solution
300 Hourly Lamp Replacement
Preparation
Turn unit off and unplug the power cord from both the wall outlet and the Welch Allyn Light Source.
Allow the lamp to cool before replacing.
Lamp Removal
Remove the lamp door from the bottom of the Welch Allyn Light Source by unscrewing the lamp access knob on the back of the lightbox.
Disconnect the lamp connector assembly and remove the lamp from the holding spring assembly.
Lamp Replacement
Replace with Welch Allyn replacement lamp #09500 only.
Ensure not to touch the lamp itself, or the interior reflective surface of the lamp.
Fuse Replacement
Power Disconnection
Turn the unit off
Remove the power cord from the wall outlet
Remove the power cord from the Welch Allyn Light Source
Fuse Holder Removal
Use a small screwdriver to remove the fuse holder above the power cord connector
Release the spring-loaded snap connections
Pull out the fuse holder
Fuse Replacement
