Disconnect all electrical power to the unit

Secure rotor to prevent freewheeling

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Vacuum the section with a HEPA filter vacuum device

Clean contaminated areas with a mild bleach and water solution or an EPA-approved sanitizer

Disconnect all electrical power including remote disconnects

Discharge all energy storing devices such as capacitors

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures

Secure rotor to prevent freewheeling

Is the air filter clogged or dirty?

Choose the action for the air filter

Install new filters with directional arrows pointing toward the fan

Disconnect all electric power, including remote disconnects, before servicing.

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Check the fan wheel set screws for tightness.

Adjustments made to the fan wheel set screws

Refer to Table 44 for recommendations.

Disconnect all electrical power to the unit

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Use a vacuum device with a HEPA filter to remove accumulated dirt and organic matter

Confirm the drain line is open following the cleaning process

Allow the unit to dry thoroughly before putting it back into service

Replace all panels and parts and restore electrical power to the unit

Ensure contaminated material does not contact other areas of the unit or building

Properly dispose of all contaminated materials and cleaning solution
