Radiator Coolant Level Check

Warning: When the engine is hot, it is very dangerous to remove the cap. Coolant level check must always be performed when the engine is cold.

Remove the radiator cover

Check mark

Remove the cap and check the coolant level from the filler port

Check mark

Is the engine coolant visible through the filler port?

Check mark

If the engine coolant is not visible through the filler port, fill appropriately diluted coolant ( LLC ) to the port

Close and tighten the radiator cap, match the pawl on the reverse side of the cap with the notch on the filler port and turn the cap fully clockwise while applying a downward force

Sign off on the coolant level check
