Ensure all parts are ready for cleaning

Separate rotor, buckets, lids, tubes, and sealing rings

Rinse rotor and accessories with warm water and neutral detergent

Use a soft brush without metal bristles to remove stubborn residue

Rinse rotor and accessories with distilled water

Place rotors on a plastic grate with cavities pointing down

Fill the cavities with approx. 10 ml of carbonated mineral water

Close the rotor as explained in the handling instructions

Shake the rotor vigorously using your hands

Did you detect any leaks by escaping water or the sound of escaping gas?

Clean the centrifuge and rotors thoroughly

Decontaminate the centrifuge and rotors

Enter the cost of repairs if applicable

Verify the centrifuge has reached its 13-year lifetime limit

Has the centrifuge been decommissioned?

Rotor, Buckets, and Lids Inspection

Check the lifetime cycles for each component

Are all components within their specified lifetime cycles?

Inspect accessories for damage or wear

Replace any damaged or worn accessories

Inspect seals and seal surfaces for signs of wear and damage

Are all seals and seal surfaces free from damage?

Is the rotor lid properly closed?

Were the sample vessels filled correctly?

Confirm aerosol tightness of the rotor
