Site Dumper Cleaning
• Clean the dumper thoroughly, this will make it easier to find oil leaks and loose fittings etc.
• Take care to clean the oil, fuel and radiator filler necks.
• Drain plugs should also be cleaned.
NOTICE: Avoid Spraying Electrical Equipment with Pressure Washers
• Using water or a pressure washer to wash down the exterior of the dumper with or without detergent is generally all that is required.Do not spray electrical equipment with a pressure washer or direct jets into the engine air intake.
• When cleaning the dumper it is preferable to use a biodegradable cleaner. Do not use solvents or like products which can damage rubber and plastics.;
Site Dumper Maintenance
Before carrying out any service or maintenance work ensure that the following precautions have been taken.
• Place the machine on firm level ground.
• Stop engine and chock the wheels.
• Remove Start key to prevent accidental starting.
• Place a warning tag on the machine to prevent accidental start up.
• Only jack or raise the dumper using the correct equipment.
Always use Axle Stands or other acceptable rigid support of ample capacity to support the dumper when raised clear of the floor.
• Refer to the Service Schedule on Page 9 - 26
• When checking fluid levels the machine must be placed on a firm, level surface, in a well ventilated position away from naked flames, grinding sparks etc.
Battery Maintenance
Safety: Always wear protective glasses when working on battery.
Negative Battery Lead Connection disconnected first
All electrical loads and start key removed before disconnecting
Positive Battery Lead Connection connected first when reconnecting
Warning: Never allow metal objects to touch both battery terminals at same time or allow metal objects to touch Positive (+) terminal and frame.
Battery not frozen
Warning: When charging the battery hydrogen gas is produced. Ensure the area is well ventilated to prevent the risk of explosion from a build up of hydrogen.
Warning: Do not smoke, weld, cut, grind etc. in vicinity of a battery being charged.
Skin not exposed to battery electrolyte

Is the filter blockage indicator showing RED?
Air Cleaner Servicing
Cleaned surrounding area of air cleaner?
Loosened clamps holding end cover to air cleaner body?
Pulled the Primary and Secondary air filter elements from the air cleaner body?
Renewed or cleaned the element?
Cleaned air cleaner body and end cover?
Reassemble by reversing the above procedures.
