Warning: Connect only to a properly grounded three-prong, single phase outlet. Avoid electric shock, do not touch uninsulated parts of the charger DC output connector, battery connector or terminals.

Ensure charger is in good condition, and that battery connectors make adequate electrical contact and are not cracked or corroded. Overheating and property damage may result.

Warning: Lead-acid batteries generate explosive gases. No smoking! Keep sparks and flame away from batteries. Never disconnect the DC output connector from the batteries while the charger is operating.

If the charge cycle must be interrupted, disconnect the AC power supply cord from its outlet. Do not disconnect the DC output connector from the battery connector.

Battery connectors make adequate electrical contact and are not cracked or corroded?

Charger outputs a trickle charge as the batteries approach full charge?

WARNING: HYDRAULIC FLUID UNDER PRESSURE IS HOT, CAN PENETRATE AND BURN THE SKIN, DAMAGE EYES, AND MAY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY, BLINDNESS, AND EVEN DEATH. CORRECT LEAKS IMMEDIATELY.

FLUID LEAKS UNDER PRESSURE MAY NOT ALWAYS BE VISIBLE.

IF A MINERAL-BASED HYDRAULIC FLUID HAS PENETRATED THE SKIN, IT MUST BE MEDICALLY TREATED, WITHIN A FEW HOURS, BY A DOCTOR FAMILIAR WITH THIS TYPE OF INJURY.

ALWAYS CLEAN UP FUEL, HYDRAULIC FLUIDS AND LUBRICATING OILS SPILLED ON THE MACHINE. SPILLS CAN CAUSE FALLS, AND ARE A SERIOUS FIRE HAZARD.

Is the platform in the fully down position?

Is the hydraulic fluid level between the 'FULL' and 'LOW' marks?
