Press the ENTER button to select CALIB

Is the applied pressure equal to the LRV stored in the database?

Vent the transmitter to atmosphere or open a bypass valve to connect high and low sides if zeroing with zero pressure

Calibrate Lower and Upper Range Values

Apply pressure equal to LRV and initiate CAL LRV

Set up the calibration equipment as per transmitter instructions (see Calibration Setup, page 77).

Ensure zero pressure is applied or equal pressures on both sides of a differential pressure transmitter.

Is the transmitter an absolute pressure transmitter with full vacuum applied?

Check underrange output value (should extend beyond 4 mA).

Check overrange output value (should extend beyond 20 mA).

Ensure the transmitter is in linear mode for DP transmitters

Disable FoxCalTM if performing a two-point calibration

Confirm LRV and URV values are within the calibrated range

Apply minimum pressure for LRV calibration

Remove the device from online operation

Perform a minimum two-point sensor calibration check at the 4 to 20 mA lower and upper range points

Verify that the milliamp output corresponds to the applied pressure within the safety accuracy using the reference milliamp meter

Trim the calibration if necessary to match the calibration points

Return the device to normal operation

Document the test results per the requirements of the application

Ensure the FoxCalTM feature is enabled before starting calibration

Verify that the input pressure accuracy is at least four times better than the transmitter’s reference accuracy specification

Perform calibration at LRV point

Perform calibration at URV point

Is the FoxCalTM feature disabled after URV calibration?

Rezero the transmitter output after stabilization at final operating temperature
