Ensure the transmitter is stabilized at the final operating temperature.

Is the FoxCalTM feature enabled?

Apply pressure equal to or near the LRV and enter the pressure for the lower trim point.

Apply pressure equal to or near the URV and enter the pressure for the upper trim point.

Perform a single point calibration (zeroing) with a nonzero pressure input if desired.

Check if the underrange and overrange output values extend beyond 4 and 20 mA, respectively.

Perform One-Point Calibration at LRV

Perform one-point offset calibration at LRV

Is the transmitter output stabilized at the final operating temperature?

Rezero the transmitter output if necessary

Check underrange and overrange output values extend beyond 4 and 20 mA

Remove the device from online operation

Perform a minimum two-point sensor calibration check at the 4 to 20 mA lower and upper range points

Verify that the milliamp output corresponds to the applied pressure within the safety accuracy using the reference milliamp meter

Trim the calibration if necessary to match the calibration points

Return the device to normal operation

Document the test results per the requirements of the application

Perform zero adjustment after installation?

Rezero transmitter output at final operating temperature for high accuracy applications?

Rezero transmitter output to eliminate zero shifts from position effects?

Check underrange and overrange output values extend beyond 4 and 20 mA

Ensure the FoxCalTM feature is enabled before starting calibration

Is the input pressure accuracy at least four times better than the transmitter’s reference accuracy specification?

Perform calibration at LRV and URV points

Rezero the transmitter output after stabilization at final operating temperature

Check underrange and overrange output values to ensure they extend beyond 4 and 20 mA, respectively

Return output to linear mode when checking zero reading in square root mode (DP transmitters only)
