Pressure Transmitter SV Rerange Calibration
Initial Setup
Is the FoxCalTM feature enabled?
Rezero the transmitter output once it has stabilized at the final operating temperature.
Calibration Check
Perform a two-point calibration if FoxCalTM is enabled.
Check underrange and overrange output values to ensure they extend beyond 4 and 20 mA, respectively.
Zero Reading Check
Is the transmitter operating in square root mode?
Return the output to linear mode for zero reading check.
Pressure Transmitter Time in Service Meter Calibration
Viewing Time in Service
View the total days the transmitter has been in service using the 1 Device Setup > 2 Calibration > Time in Service Meter menu selection.
View the user days since the last reset using the 1 Device Setup > 2 Calibration > Reset User Days menu selection.
Resetting User Days
Reset the user days to zero if necessary.
Calibration and Zeroing
Perform a two-point calibration if FoxCalTM is enabled.
Rezero the transmitter output once it has stabilized at the final operating temperature.
Check underrange and overrange output values to ensure they extend beyond 4 and 20 mA, respectively.
Pressure Transmitter Calibration
Access Calibration Mode
Press the NEXT button repeatedly until the display reads CALIB
Press the ENTER button to select CALIB
Zeroing the Transmitter
Select zeroing method
Apply pressure equal to LRV for CAL LRV method
Ensure zero pressure for CAL AT0 method
Calibrate Range Values
Calibrate the lower range value (LRV or 0% range value)
Pressure Transmitter Compehensive Proof Testing
Remove the device from online operation
Perform a minimum two-point sensor calibration check at the 4 to 20 mA lower and upper range points
Verify that the milliamp output corresponds to the applied pressure within the safety accuracy using the reference milliamp meter
Trim the calibration if necessary to match the calibration points
Return the device to normal operation
Document the test results per the requirements of the application
Pressure Transmitter One-Point Calibration
Calibration Preparation
Select calibration method
Is the FoxCalTM feature enabled?
Perform One-Point Calibration at LRV
Perform one-point offset calibration at LRV
Is the transmitter output stabilized at the final operating temperature?
Rezero the transmitter output if necessary
