Ensure capacitors are discharged safely to avoid sparking

Verify no live electrical components and wiring are exposed during operations

Ensure no electrical supply is connected until faults are resolved

Unplug the air conditioner to prevent shock or fire hazards.

Check if the air filter needs cleaning.

Remove the front grille from the unit by grabbing it from both sides and pulling towards you.

Open the front grille to reveal the filter inside.

Grasp and pull out the air filter.

Turn off the power supply to the unit and unplug the power cord from the socket.

Locate the fresh air vent behind the front cover and on the backside of the partition panel on the left side of the air discharge area.

Carefully pull out the unit from the sleeve to access the fresh air filter.

Remove the phillip screw using a screwdriver to take out the optional fresh air filter.

Choose the cleaning method for the filter

If washing, rinse the filter thoroughly after cleaning.

Inspect the unit by dealer or servicer

Is the unit operated in a dusty climate?

Remove the unit from the sleeve

Gather cleaning materials (mild soap or detergent, cleaning cloth)

Ensure no hydrocarbon-based cleaners are used

Ensure the cleaning cloth is not excessively wet

Clean the frontpanel with mild soap or detergent

Clean the frontcover with mild soap or detergent

Use care when cleaning the control area on the front panel
