Safety Precautions
Disconnect all power sources to the unit
Verify absence of voltage
Chassis Removal
Remove the front cover
Remove screws securing the chassis
Slide chassis out of wall sleeve
Vent Maintenance
Vent Door Removal
Remove Chassis from wall sleeve
Remove P clamp securing vent door control cable to center partition
Disconnect cable from vent door
Remove vent door by opening door and pulling hinge tabs out of slots in center partition
Remove the door by pulling hinge tabs out away from the center partition
Capacitor Check
Disassembly
Remove front cover
Remove the two mounting screws from the control board cover
Tilt the control panel out and disconnect ribbon connector from control board
Capacitor Disconnection
Disconnect all wiring to the capacitor
Label the wires for proper reassembly
Capacitor Removal
Remove the screw securing the capacitor mounting clamp to the center partition
Evaporator Maintenance
Disassembly
Remove front cover
Remove the two mounting screws from the control board cover
Tilt the control panel out and disconnect ribbon connector from control board
Screen and Panel Removal
Remove the two screws securing the top screen to the evaporator assembly
Remove screws on mid partition panel and shift out of the way
Heater Assembly Removal
Remove the two screws securing the heater assembly to the evaporator
Escutcheon, Control Board And Control Panel Removal
Front Cover and Control Board Cover Removal
Remove front cover
Remove the two mounting screws from the control board cover
Control Panel Disconnection
Tilt the control panel out
Disconnect ribbon connector from control board
Control Board Wiring Disconnection
Disconnect all wiring to the control board
Label the wires for proper reassembly
