Remove Chassis from wall sleeve

Remove P clamp securing vent door control cable to center partition and disconnect cable from vent door

Remove vent door by opening door and pulling hinge tabs out of slots in center partition

Remove the door by pulling hinge tabs out away from the center partition

Inspect the vent door for any signs of damage or wear

Check the wall sleeve for any obstructions or damage

Disconnect all power sources before servicing or installing the unit

Verify that multiple power sources are not present

Remove screws securing the chassis to the wall sleeve

Carefully slide chassis out of wall sleeve

Disconnect all power sources before servicing or installing the unit

Confirm multiple power sources are not present

Measure the voltage across terminals L1 and L2 of the outlet using a voltmeter

Identify potential issues if no voltage reading is present

Describe the repair actions taken

Remove the two mounting screws from the control board cover

Tilt the control panel out and disconnect ribbon connector from control board

Remove the two screws securing the top screen to the evaporator assembly

Remove screws on mid partition panel and shift out of the way

Remove the two screws securing the heater assembly to the evaporator

WARNING: NEVER TEST OPERATION WITHOUT THE UNIT IN THE WALL SLEEVE

Describe any changes in design specifications for air movement

Ensure the unit is installed in the wall sleeve

Check for common inefficiency causes

Cooling Performance Test Thermometers

Ensure proper equipment is used

Secure thermometers in proper locations

Were thermometer readings observed without touching or moving them?
