Evaporator Maintenance
Disassembly
Remove front cover
Remove the two mounting screws from the control board cover
Tilt the control panel out and disconnect ribbon connector from control board
Remove the two screws securing the top screen to the evaporator assembly
Remove screws on mid partition panel and shift out of the way
Remove the two screws securing the heater assembly to the evaporator
Pull heater assembly up and out of the chassis
Disconnect all wiring to the heater assembly and remove the assembly
Voltage Check
Safety Precautions
Disconnect all power sources before servicing or installing the unit
Verify multiple power sources are not present
Voltage Measurement
Measure the voltage across terminals L1 and L2 of the outlet
Is there a voltage reading across terminals L1 and L2?
Troubleshooting
Identify potential issues if no voltage reading is present
Describe the repair actions taken
Outdoor Maintenance
Outdoor Coil Maintenance
Remove the chassis from the wall sleeve
Capture the refrigerant from the system
Debraze the inlet and discharge tubing from the outdoor coil
Remove all screws from the sides of the outdoor coil securing the shroud to the coil
Press the tabs on the right side of the shroud to separate the shroud from the outdoor coil
For 'E-K' models, ensure the four piece condenser shroud is disassembled
Remove the two screws securing the outdoor coil to the base pan
Carefully lift the outdoor coil over the basepan lip
Cooling Performance Thermometer Check
WARNING: NEVER TEST OPERATION WITHOUT THE UNIT IN THE WALL SLEEVE
Describe any changes in design specifications for air movement
Ensure the unit is installed in the wall sleeve
Check if the condenser is adequately cleaned

Ensure the following precautions are taken for thermometer readings
