Remove the two screws securing the front to the chassis

Grasp the cabinet front as shown

Pull the bottom of the cabinet front away from the chassis until the retaining clips disengage

Lift the cabinet front off the chassis

Reinstall the cabinet front by reversing the removal procedure

Remove Chassis from wall sleeve

Remove P clamp securing vent door control cable to center partition

Disconnect cable from vent door

Remove vent door by opening door and pulling hinge tabs out of slots in center partition

Remove the door by pulling hinge tabs out away from the center partition

Remove the thermistor leads from the circuit board

Check the thermistor for continuity

Does the thermistor test as expected?

Replace thermistor if it does not test as expected

Record dry bulb temperature of return air at conditioner (Step A)

Record dry bulb temperature of air leaving conditioner (Step B)

Record dry bulb temperature on sling psychrometer (Step C)

Record wet bulb temperature on sling psychrometer

Temperature Difference Calculation

Calculate temperature difference by subtracting Step B from Step A

Calculate cooling range using Cooling Range Chart

Remove the two mounting screws from the control board cover

Tilt the control panel out and disconnect ribbon connector from control board

Disconnect all wiring to the control board

Label the wires to ensure proper reassembly
