Transmitters with the Optional Display

Unlatch the external zero button by turning it 90 degrees counterclockwise

Check for possible messages on the display

Relatch the external zero button by turning it 90 degrees clockwise

Set or reset using the optional display

Apply zero pressure to the transmitter or use a bypass valve to equalize pressure

Press the external zero button until the display reads CAL AT0, then release

Wait for the display to read AT0done to complete calibration

Apply the lower range value (LRV) pressure to the transmitter

Ensure PV is in linear (pressure) mode

Access PV Offset function from Device Setup > Full Configuration > View Parameters or Edit Parameters

Perform two-point calibration if FoxCalTM is enabled

Rezero the transmitter output once stabilized at final operating temperature

Check underrange and overrange output values to ensure they extend beyond 4 and 20 mA

Is the FoxCalTM feature enabled?

Performing One-Point Calibration at LRV

Perform one-point offset calibration at LRV

Is the transmitter output stabilized at the final operating temperature?

Rezero the transmitter output if necessary

Check underrange output value (should extend beyond 4 mA)

Is the FoxCalTM feature enabled?

Ensure the transmitter is stabilized at the final operating temperature.

Perform two-point calibration if FoxCalTM is enabled

Rezero the transmitter output to eliminate zero shifts from position effects.

Check if underrange and overrange output values extend beyond 4 and 20 mA, respectively.

Zero Reading Check (DP Transmitters Only)

Return the output to linear mode for zero reading check.

Ensure PV is in square root mode

Access PV Flow URV function from Device Setup > Full Configuration > Edit Parameters

Perform two-point calibration if FoxCalTM is enabled

Rezero the transmitter output once stabilized at final operating temperature

Check underrange and overrange output values to ensure they extend beyond 4 and 20 mA

Return output to linear mode when checking zero reading in square root mode (DP transmitters only)
