Record the current oil level from the float type liquid oil level gauge

Is the oil level within the acceptable range?

Drain the existing oil from the compressor reservoir

Dispose of the used oil according to environmental regulations

Replace the oil filter elements under any of the following conditions

Air Intake Filter Element Servicing

Service the air intake filter element under the following conditions

Clean the filter element by washing in a warm water solution of household detergent

Record the number of times the filter element has been washed

Ensure a spare filter element is available to minimize machine downtime

Change the safety element once a year

Discard the used safety element as it is not reusable

Record the current operating hours of the compressor

Has the compressor operated for 2000 hours since the last oil change?

Change the oil if 2000 hours have been reached or exceeded

Is the oil filter warning light on?

Has it been 6 months since the last oil filter change?

Has the compressor operated for 2000 hours since the last oil filter change?

Replace the oil filter if any of the conditions are met

Ensure the carbon washer is not dropped or scratched

Ensure the seal seat is not scratched

Oil the outer surface of the seal seat 'O' ring (never use grease)

Push the seal seat with 'O' ring into the seal adapter squarely and firmly

Place the spring holder on the shaft and push it down on the input shaft bearing

Check the separator warning light

Record the total hours of operation

Inspect the service line for excessive oil

Check the separator for faults (e.g., holes)

Change the air/oil separator if any condition is met

Document the condition that triggered the separator change

Verify the new separator is functioning correctly

Sign off the procedure completion
