Record the current oil level from the liquid oil level gauge

Is the oil level within the acceptable range?

Drain the existing oil from the compressor

Refill the compressor with new oil

Enter the amount of new oil added (in liters)

Replace the oil filter elements under any of the following conditions

Determine the need for separator change

Is the separator warning light on?

Has it been one year since the last separator change?

Enter the total hours of operation since the last separator change.

Is there excessive oil in the service line?

Turn off the equipment and ensure it is safe to work on.

Remove the old air/oil separator.

Install the new air/oil separator.

Check conditions for servicing the air intake filter element

Remove the air intake filter element

Wash the filter element in a warm water solution of household detergent

Record the number of times the filter element has been washed

Has the filter element been washed six (6) times?

Discard the filter element if it has been washed six (6) times

Ensure the carbon washer is not dropped or scratched

Oil the outer surface of the seal seat 'O' ring

Push the seal seat with 'O' ring into the seal adapter

Place the spring holder on the shaft and push it down on the input shaft bearing

Record the current operating hours of the compressor

Has the compressor operated for 2000 hours since the last oil change?

Is it time for the scheduled 6-month oil change?

Change the oil if any of the above conditions are met

Is the oil filter warning light on?

Has it been 6 months since the last oil filter change?

Has the compressor operated for 2000 hours since the last oil filter change?
