Ensure machine is properly stored as per instructions

Has the storage period exceeded 12 months?

Completely replace the lubricant

Inspect and clean bearings if necessary

Inspect O-rings and gaskets (replace if necessary)

Inspect mechanical seal integrity (replace if necessary)

Pour oil directly into the cruet, not into the elbow of the oil-filler or bearing frame plug

Select the oil change frequency based on operating conditions

Enter the current bearing temperature in °C/°F

Is the bearing temperature within the normal range (≤ 85°C/185°F)?

Ensure the pump is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and materials for oil replacement

Remove the vent plug of the bearing frame

Upset the oil-cruet to allow oil to drain completely

Has all the old oil been drained?

Pour oil into the bearing frame through the hole of the plug until oil is visible in the oil-filler elbow

Ensure the pump is turned off and isolated from the power source.

Gather necessary tools and materials, including high-quality lubricating grease.

Inspect the following pump series for self-lubricated ball bearings

Are the bearings sealed and pre-greased?

Clean the bearings if they are not sealed and pre-greased.

Is the bearing temperature within normal range (not exceeding 85°C)?

Record the total working hours of the mechanical seal

Has the mechanical seal exceeded its normal life span of 4000 hours?

Is the mechanical seal being replaced?

Check the condition of the shaft sleeve

Is the shaft sleeve damaged or doubtful?

Replace the shaft sleeve if necessary
