Ensure the pump is turned off and isolated from the power supply

Gather necessary tools and materials for maintenance

Inspect the following pump series for self-lubricated ball bearings

Are the bearings sealed and pre-greased?

Check for signs of overheating or wear on the bearings

Is the bearing temperature within normal range (below 85°C)?

Record the total working hours of the mechanical seal

Is the mechanical seal within the acceptable life span of 4000 hours?

Was the mechanical seal replaced?

Check the condition of the shaft sleeve if present

Is the shaft sleeve surface damaged or doubtful?

Replace the shaft sleeve if necessary

Has the storage period exceeded 12 months?

Inspect and clean bearings if necessary

Inspect mechanical seal integrity

Is the pump operating without abnormal vibrations or noises?

Check the alignment and conditions

Check the flow of auxiliary supply lines

Ensure the pump is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and materials (oil, oil-cruet, vent plug)

Remove the vent plug of the bearing frame

Dispose of the exhausted oil following current regulations

Pour oil into the bearing frame through the hole of the plug until oil is visible in the oil-filler elbow
