Is the pump operating without abnormal vibrations or noises?

Check the alignment and conditions

Check the flow of auxiliary supply lines

Ensure the pump is completely stopped before handling

Drain the pump or close the pipes using a valve to prevent sudden rotation

Wait for the pump to cool to avoid contact with high temperature surfaces

Disconnect the power supply and any other connections

Ensure power supply is restored only by the maintenance operator

Ensure the presence of at least two operators during maintenance

Inform the foreman that maintenance is in progress

Use appropriate protective devices

Pour oil directly into the cruet

Avoid pouring oil into the elbow of the oil-filler or bearing frame plug

Select oil change frequency based on conditions

Enter the current bearing temperature in °C

Is the bearing temperature below 85°C/185°F?

Verify pump series and bearing type

Is the bearing temperature within normal range (not exceeding 85°C)?

Bearing Maintenance for TMA Pumps

Clean the ball bearings carefully

Apply new lubricating grease to the ball bearings

Ensure not to over lubricate the bearings

Sealed Pre-Greased Bearings Check

Inspect sealed pre-greased bearings for any issues

Ensure the pump is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and materials (oil, oil-cruet, etc.)

Remove the vent plug of the bearing frame

Dispose of the exhausted oil following current regulations and environmental protection measures
