Adventurer Type Conventional Mfr Load Cell Replacement
Preparation
Remove the balance load cell metal cover
Load Cell Disconnection
Locate and remove the cables connecting the Conventional MFR load cell to the balance main PCBA
Load Cell Removal
Locate and remove the screws securing the Conventional MFR Cell to the bottom housing
Off-Center Load Adjustment
Precision Models
Ensure the balance is free from drafts
Set Auto-Zero to Off, in Menu Setup
Open the balance (See Section 3.1)
Reinstall the Pan
Plug the power cord into the balance and turn it on
Place a mass that weighs the balance’s full capacity on the center of the Pan
Press O/T (the center button) to tare the balance and return the displayed weight to 0g
Move the mass to the front, back, left and right edges of the Pan and note the displayed values
Precision Test
Initial Setup
Tare the balance to ensure the reading is 0g.
Mass Weighing Test
Record the reading after placing a mass near the maximum capacity on the center of the Pan.
Remove the mass and check if the reading returns to 0g ±1 count.
Repetition and Verification
Enter the number of times the test is repeated (should be 3).
Is the reading within ±1 count of the recorded reading for all repetitions?

Locate and remove components
Set the metal plate aside
InCal Test Weight Removal
Locate and remove InCal test weight components
Remove the InCal test weight using a hand with gloves on
Securely set the test weight aside
Adventurer Models Block Type Load Cell Replacement
Load Cell Removal
Remove the balance load cell metal cover to reveal the Block Style load cell.
Locate and remove the 2 cables connecting from the Block Style load cell to the balance main PCBA.
Locate and remove the 4 screws securing the Block Style Cell to the bottom housing.
Post Removal Check
Ensure the following components are removed
