Adventurer Models Block Type Load Cell Replacement
Load Cell Access
Remove the balance load cell metal cover to reveal the Block Style load cell.
Cable Disconnection
Locate and remove the 2 cables connecting from the Block Style load cell to the balance main PCBA.
Load Cell Removal
Locate and remove the 4 screws securing the Block Style Cell to the bottom housing.
Post Replacement Check
Is the new load cell securely attached?
Are all cables properly connected?
Adventurer Precision Housing Removal
Initial Component Removal
Remove the balance weighing pan and securely set it aside
Remove the balance Pan Support
Windring Removal
Gently release the two hinges securing the Windring to the balance top housing
Remove the balance Windring
Follow the instructions for removing Adventurer housing from page 3-4
Incal Mechanism Removal
Disassembly
Remove components
Remove InCal test weight
Post-Disassembly
Inspect removed components for wear or damage
Describe any issues found during inspection

Reinstall components
Verify all components are securely fastened
Precision Test
Initial Setup
Tare the balance. The reading on the display should be 0g.
Mass Weighing Test
Select a mass weighing near the maximum capacity of the balance, and place it on the center of the Pan. Observe and record the reading.
Remove the mass. The reading should return to 0g ±1 count.
Repetition and Verification
Repeat this test three times. Enter the number of successful repetitions within ±1 count of the recorded reading.
Did the balance pass the Precision Test by maintaining readings within ±1 count?

Remove the balance load cell metal cover to access the Conventional MFR load cell
Disconnecting the Load Cell
Locate and remove the cables connecting the Conventional MFR load cell to the balance main PCBA

Locate and remove the screws securing the Conventional MFR Cell to the bottom housing
