Ohaus Adventurer ™ Balances AX8201M

Disconnect the following cables

Remove the screws securing the Main PC Board to the Base

Install replacement Main PC Board in reverse order

Check if the LCD display on the new board is clear of protective plastic covering

Remove the balance load cell metal cover

Locate the Strain Gage load cell

Remove the cable connecting the Strain Gage type load cell to the balance main PCBA

Locate and remove the 4 screws securing the Strain Gage Load Cell to the bottom housing

Locate and remove the screws holding the weight protection metal plate

Remove the metal plate and set it aside

Locate and remove the InCal test weight retainers

Remove the InCal test weight using a hand with gloves on and securely set it aside

Hold the side of the load cell structure

Locate the two screws holding the weighing arm assembly

Securely set the weighing arm assembly aside

Pan and Pan Support Inspection and Cleaning

Remove the Pan and Pan Support to inspect the area beneath the Pan

Clean the outside of the balance using a damp cloth with warm water

Ensure no chemical cleaners or solvents are used

Check the Power Cord for broken or damaged insulation

Make a visual inspection for faulty connectors, wiring, and loose hardware
