Ohaus Adventurer ™ Balances AX2202M

Ensure the balance is powered off

Gather necessary tools (screwdriver, pliers)

Remove the balance load cell metal cover

Locate the Conventional MFR load cell

Disconnect cables from the Conventional MFR load cell

Remove screws securing the Conventional MFR Cell

Turn off the balance and unplug the power cord

For a balance with a Draft Shield

Remove the weighing pan and wind ring and set aside

Remove the EMC plate by removing the two screws holding it to the balance top housing

Remove the two screws securing the draft shield housing to the balance

Remove the balance top housing by lifting the back upwards and sliding it forward

Remove the keypad membrane cable by unfastening the connector

Remove the TFT LCD cable by lifting the connector lock upwards

Pan and Pan Support Inspection and Cleaning

Remove the Pan and Pan Support to inspect the area beneath the Pan

Clean the outside of the balance using a damp cloth with warm water

Check the Power Cord for broken or damaged insulation

Make a visual inspection for faulty connectors, wiring, and loose hardware

Warm up the balance prior to performing the tests.

Ensure the balance has passed the following tests

Calibrate the balance before performing the Linearity Test.

Enter the full capacity of the balance.

Enter the Reference Mass (approximately 1/8 of the full capacity).

Use the same Reference Mass throughout the Linearity Test.

Disconnect the following cables

Remove the screws securing the Main PC Board to the Base

Install replacement Main PC Board in reverse order

Check if the LCD display on the new board is clear of protective plastic covering
