Install replacement Main PC Board in reverse order
Check if the LCD display on the new board is clear of protective plastic covering
Reassembly and Finalization
Reassemble the balance
Adventurer Type Strain Gage Load Cell Replacement
Preparation
Remove the balance load cell metal cover
Load Cell Removal
Locate the Strain Gage load cell
Remove the cable connecting the Strain Gage type load cell to the balance main PCBA
Remove the screws securing the Strain Gage Load Cell to the bottom housing
Internal Calibration Weights Component Removal
Preparation
Hold the side of the load cell structure
Weighing Arm Assembly Removal
Locate the two screws holding the weighing arm assembly
Remove the two screws
Securely set the weighing arm assembly aside
Adventurer Precision Housing Removal
Initial Component Removal
Remove the balance weighing pan and securely set it aside
Remove the balance Pan Support
Windring Removal
Gently release the two hinges securing the Windring to the balance top housing
Remove the balance Windring
Follow the instructions for removing Adventurer housing from page 3-4
Incal Mechanism Removal
Disassembly
Locate and remove components
Set the metal plate aside
InCal Test Weight Removal
Locate and remove InCal test weight components
Remove the InCal test weight using a hand with gloves
Securely set the test weight aside
