Change the sea water pump impeller as needed

Remove impeller with water pump pliers

Ensure all pieces of a failed impeller are removed

Clean the inside of the housing

Place the sealing washer in the outer end of the impeller center if not already done

Replace the cover using a new gasket

Ensure all pressure is relieved before disconnecting lines.

Verify all connections are tight and lines, pipes, and hoses are not damaged before applying pressure.

Use a piece of cardboard or wood to search for suspected leaks instead of hands.

If injured by escaping fuel, describe the injury and confirm seeing a doctor immediately.

Loosen the bleed plug on the fuel filter.

Operate the primer pump lever until most air bubbles are expelled and clear fuel escapes the bleed plug.

Ensure engine is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and materials, including owner-supplied drain hose and suitable container for oil collection

Remove plug from outlet in base frame

Screw in owner-supplied drain hose

Drain oil into suitable container

Close valve after oil has been drained

Ensure the engine is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and equipment, including a boost gauge

Locate the 1/8" NPT threaded port on the inlet manifold

Remove the plug from the threaded port

Install the boost gauge hose into the threaded port

Record the boost pressure reading from the gauge

Record the current engine hours

Use a filter wrench to remove old filter

Dispose of filter in approved manner

Ensure the gasket from the old filter is removed and discarded

Lubricate the rubber gasket on the new filter

Screw the new filter on nipple until gasket meets the sealing surface

Tighten filter one-half turn farther using hands only
