Wipe the surface with a wet cloth

Ensure no benzene, oil, or fatty detergents are used

Confirm the remote controller is kept as dry as possible

Vent and Surroundings Inspection

Check for smear or blockage at the air supply vent

Check for combustible materials near the heater or exhaust vent terminal

Check for water leaks from the equipment and piping

Check for blockage at the drain pipe discharge

Check for dust and soot in the exhaust vent or exhaust vent terminal

Check for abnormal sounds during operation

Wait for the equipment to cool down to avoid burns.

Prepare a bucket for water drainage.

Remove the inlet and outlet drain plugs and drain approximately 0.4 gallon (1.4L) of water.

Remove the water drain valve (with water filter) from the inlet.
