Warning: Do not use a blower to remove paper residue.

Printer cover opened and paper roll removed

Paper residue removed with a vacuum cleaner

Sign off on the printer cleaning

CAUTION! Caution should be taken when using the device for patients with infection.

NOTE! Be sure not to let dust or foreign particles into the air nozzle during cleaning.

Check the air nozzle glass for dust or dirt.

Use a blower to blow off any dust.

Wipe the glass using a cotton swab dampened with alcohol.

NOTE! Gently wipe the glass circularly from the center to periphery.

Check the glass for dust or dirt again.

Sign off on the air nozzle cleaning

Remove the two fixing pins from the chinrest

Amount of chinrest paper taken out of the pack

An entire pack of chinrest paper cannot be attached. Be sure to attach a stack with a thickness of 6 mm or less.

Pass the fixing pins through the chinrest paper stack

Attach the stack of chinrest paper onto the chinrest

Sign off on the chinrest paper attachment

Warning: Handle the forehead rest pad with care to avoid damage.

Forehead rest pad or magnetic forehead rest pad removed from the frame?

Upload a photo of the removed forehead rest pad.

New forehead rest pad aligned with the clasps to the holes in the frame?

Forehead rest pad attached by pressing over the fastener positions on both sides?

Forehead rest pad securely attached and locked by the fasteners?

Sign off on the forehead rest pad replacement.

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel only!

Remove the two fixing pins and the stack of chinrest paper from the chinrest

Remove the cap from the spherical model eye and put the model eye on the chinrest with its lens toward the measuring window and then insert the fixing pins

Check the lens surface of the model eye for soiling

Align the level of the spherical model eye to the eye level marker with the chinrest up/ down buttons

Set the parameter [MEASURE] > [AR] > [STEP] to '0.01 D'

Perform AR and KM measurements in the same manner as normal AR and KM measurements

CAUTION! If the measured results differ substantially from the values indicated on the model eye, ask NIDEK or your authorized distributor for calibration

NOTE! Always store the model eye with its cap on. If the lens surface is soiled or flawed, measurement accuracy cannot be properly checked
