Verify the load cell cable is plugged into the controller

Ensure the weigh bin is resting freely on the load cells

Check the air line to the weigh bin’s dump valve is connected

Ensure load cells and bin are not jammed

Does a light touch on the bin cause the display to change and return to its original value (±1 gram)?

Disable *47 if calibrating a WSD

Pneumatically lockout the blender

Electrically lockout the blender

Pneumatic Lockout/Tagout Points

Dissipate stored/residual energy from the pneumatic system using the Manual Operations screen

Electrical Lockout/Tagout Points

Material Removal and Cleaning Preparation

Evacuate material from blender using clean-out drain tubes and/or drain chutes

Check the physical condition of the load cell components

Inspect for any visible damage or corrosion

Record the current zero reading of the load cell

Is the zero reading within the acceptable range?

Record the full weight reading of the load cell

Is the full weight reading within the acceptable range?

Locate the adjustment screw at the rear of the sensor

Use a very small regular screwdriver for adjustment

Turn the adjustment screw clockwise until the LED turns ON

Turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise until the LED turns OFF

Continue turning counter-clockwise for one full revolution after the LED turns off

Does the LED turn on when material is present in front of the sensor?

Describe any additional adjustments made due to material dust or static

Sensor Position Adjustment (200 and 400 Series Models Only)

Examine Weigh Bin and Hanging Bracket

Ensure no contact with windows or guards

Is there free space on all sides of the weigh bin?

Press down lightly on the weigh bin and note the change in weight readout

Remove touch and verify the weight returns to original reading +/- 1 gram

Interference Check and Correction

Was any interference detected with the weigh bin or hanging bracket?

Describe the interference and corrective actions taken
