Pneumatic and Electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Pneumatically lockout the blender

Electrically lockout the blender

Is the pneumatic system fully depressurized?

Is material evacuation required?

Evacuate material from the following locations if necessary

Access Manual Operations via touchscreen controller

Adjust the weigh bin dump valve to close softly

Locate and adjust the needle valve for a soft close

Inspection for Wear and Overlap

Check for wear at the hinge points

Ensure the dump flap overlaps the forward edge enough to prevent dribble when closed

Verify space at the rear of the flap allows for static build-up of pellets without interfering with closing

Test slide valve movement during LOTO without air pressure

Check for wear on the slide valve components

Does the slide valve open and close freely, quickly, and completely?

Inspect mix blades for damage or wear

Are any mix blades damaged, worn, or sharp?

Replace damaged, worn, or sharp mix blades

Enter the current air pressure reading

Select the recommended air pressure for the model

Is the air pressure set correctly for the model?

Inspect the pneumatic system for the following issues
