Safety Information
Inspect the fan cowl and cooling fins
Clean the fan cowl grid
Remove coarse dirt from fins
Dirt Trap Cleaning
5.5 Cleaning the Dirt Trap
Ensure all safety precautions from Section 5.1 are followed
Remove the intake line
Remove the dirt trap from the intake flange
Rinse the dirt trap using a suitable solvent
Thoroughly dry the dirt trap with compressed air
Is the dirt trap damaged?
Replace the dirt trap if it is damaged
Pumping Chamber Cleaning
5.6 Cleaning the Pumping Chamber
Observe all safety information provided in Section 5.1
Remove the two connecting lines
Blow out contaminants with dry compressed air or flush out with a suitable solvent
Remove contaminants with a wire brush, metallic sponge, or scraper if necessary
Change the oil
Turn the impellers by hand during cleaning
Ensure loosened deposits do not remain in the pump
Check the pump by slowly turning the impellers by hand

Check the condition of the oil in the oil level glass
Check the oil level in the oiler
Check the condition of the oil in the oiler
Is the oil light-brown in color?
Is the oil level correct according to Section 5.2 and 5.3?

Check the oil level at vertical flow when the pump is not running
Pressure Balance Line Valve Cleaning
5.7 Cleaning the Valve of the Pressure Balance Line
Ensure all safety information from Section 5.1 is observed
Remove the screws and take off the cover (12/1) with O-ring (12/2)
Take out the spring (12/4)
Remove the valve disk (12/6) with O-rings (12/5) and (12/7)
Is the bushing (12/3) damaged?
If damaged, pull out the bushing (12/3) from the valve disk and replace it
Clean all parts or replace them if necessary
Reassemble in the reverse sequence
