1 Yearly Cooling Coil Cleaning

Clean the oil cooler with compressed air
Degrease the oil cooler

Ensure all tools and safety equipment are ready
Is the pump switched off but still at working temperature?
Unscrew the oil-drain plug (6/5) and let the used oil drain into a suitable container
Screw the oil-drain plug back in, briefly switch on the pump (max. 10s) and switch it off
Remove the oil-drain plug again and drain the remaining oil
Unscrew the oil filter
Moisten the gasket of the new oil filter with oil and screw it in manually
Unscrew the oil-fill plug and fill the pump with fresh oil up to the bottom edge of the oil-level glass

Tools required
Check if pressure falls below approx. 5 mbar during pump operation
Remove the fastening screws at the top of the pump-cylinder cover (7/51a-52a)
Loosen the pump foot (7/94a) at the bottom of the cover and take off the cover
Take off the oil return line (6/11)
Remove the four screws (6/12) and pull the float valve assembly (6/10a) out of the float chamber
Take off the gasket (6/9)
Clean the nozzle

2.3 Storing
Take adequate safety precautions when pumping harmful substances
Drain the oil (see § 5.4-C)
Pour in clean oil up to the bottom edge of the oil-level glass and let the pump run for a few minutes
Drain the oil again and pour in clean oil up to the top edge of the oil-level glass
Seal the connection ports
Confirm that special preservation or slushing oils are not necessary
1 Yearly Anti-Suckback Valve Inspection

Ensure all tools are available
Keep the anti-suckback valve clean to ensure proper operation of the pump
Is a dust filter installed upstream if exposed to large amounts of dust or dirt?
Disconnect the intake line
Remove the fastening screws at the top of the pump-cylinder cover (7/51a-52a)
Loosen the pump foot (7/94a) at the bottom of the cover and take off the cover
Remove four screws and take off the intake flange (7/57) and gasket (7/55)
Remove the spring and anti-suckback valve, and replace them if required
