Consider demanding conditions and adjust maintenance interval accordingly

Measure resistance at the core ends of the control cable using an ohmmeter

If specified tolerances are exceeded, disconnect the connection cable at the pump set and repeat the check inside the motor

If tolerances are exceeded inside the motor, open and overhaul the motor part

Use back-up sensors if original sensors are defective

Check the bail or eyebolt including fasteners for any visible damage

Replace any damaged components with original spare parts

Ensure the pump set is in a horizontal position.

Place a suitable container under screw plug 903.33.

Unscrew both screw plugs 903.34/903.35 with joint rings 411.34/411.35 at the coolant filler openings.

Carefully undo screw plug 903.33 with joint ring 411.33 and drain off the coolant.

Is the coolant bright and transparent in appearance?

Describe any discoloration or contamination observed in the coolant.

Inspect lifting chain/rope and fasteners for visible damage

Replace damaged components with original spare parts

Assess lifting chain/rope/shackle according to local regulations

Observe operating manual of lifting accessories

Wear safety clothing and a protective mask if required

Observe all legal regulations on the disposal of fluids posing a health hazard

Collect and properly dispose of the flushing fluid and of any residues of the fluid handled

Place a suitable container under screw plug 903.02
