8.5.2 Period of Time to Supply Grease
Has the equipment been stored for 6 months or more?
Check if the existing grease is degraded.
Supply grease to the following axes
Use Idemitsu Kosan Daphne Grease MP No.2 or equivalent (e.g. Showa Shell Oil Albania Grease No. 2, Mobil Oil Mobilux 2)
Initial 3 Months Axes Lubrication
Period of Time to Supply Grease
Supply grease once in 3 months after the start of first operation after delivery.
How to Supply the Grease
Select the grease to be used
Ensure no fluorine-based grease is used
Detach the grommet
Move the slider until the grease nipple on the slider can be seen in the supply inlet
Put the grease gun into the grease supply inlet and supply grease on the grease nipple
Move the slider back and forth with hand several times
3 Yearly Fan Replacement

Replace the fan every three years assuming 24-hour operation in 40°C

Ensure you have a Phillips screwdriver
Ensure you have the replacement fan unit (Model Code MGT4024YB-O10 (TTA))

Remove the screws on the rear panel at the back of the main unit
Slide the rear panel slightly towards you
Remove the screws on the module plate

Check for loose actuator mounting bolts and other loose items on the main unit
Inspect cables for scratches and proper connections
Check for irregular noise and vibration

Remove the pulley cover and visually inspect the belt
Check for obvious friction in the gear and belt area
