Remove the pulley cover and visually inspect the belt

Check for obvious friction in the gear and belt area

Check for swelling due to oil adhesion

Check for damages such as cracks on the belt gear and back side

Contact IAI if the belt needs replacement

8.5.2 Period of Time to Supply Grease

Has the equipment been stored for 6 months or more?

Check the condition of the existing grease for degradation.

Supply grease to the following axes as per the procedures

Use Idemitsu Kosan Daphne Grease MP No.2 or equivalent (e.g. Showa Shell Oil Albania Grease No. 2, Mobil Oil Mobilux 2)

Clean exterior surfaces as necessary

Wipe off water and chemical on the surface of the main unit

Use a soft cloth to wipe away dirt and buildup

Remove severe buildup with a soft cloth soaked in a neutral detergent or alcohol

Confirm inspection schedule based on actuator utilization

Adjust inspection intervals if actuator is used continuously

Check for loose actuator mounting bolts and other loose items on the main unit

Inspect cables for scratches and proper connections

Check for irregular noise and vibration

Replace the fan every three years assuming 24-hour operation in 40°C

Ensure you have a Phillips screwdriver

Ensure you have the replacement fan unit (Model Code MGT4024YB-O10 (TTA))

Remove the screws on the rear panel at the back of the main unit

Slide the rear panel slightly towards you

Remove the screws on the module plate
