Acknowledge the following warnings and cautions

Oil Drain and Filter Replacement

Put a suitable container under the transmission.

Remove and clean the drain plug.

Reinstall the drain plug when all oil has drained. Torque the plug to 45 N•m (35 lbf ft).

Remove and discard the old filter.

Apply clean transmission oil to the gasket of the new filter.

Install the new filter and tighten by hand.

Raise and lower the mast several times without a load. Check for smooth operation and correct sequence.

Raise the mast to its full extension height. Ensure smooth operation.

Check proper tracking of header hoses.

Check for excessive play of rollers and bearing blocks.

Ensure the inner weldment and the carriage lower completely.

Check for leaks in hydraulic components.

Raise the mast 1 m (3 ft) with a capacity load. Ensure smooth operation of the inner weldment and carriage.

Use a wrench to loosen the bowl that holds the filter cartridge

Remove and replace the filter cartridge

Reinstall the bowl and torque to 20 N•m (177.02 lbf in)

Check hydraulic oil level at the level indicator when the carriage is lowered and the engine stopped.

Is the hydraulic oil level in the red area?

Record the volume of hydraulic oil added, if any.

Steering System Operation Check

Is the engine running to ensure hydraulic pressure is supplied to the steering system?

Check operation of the steering system.

Does the steering system operate smoothly?

Check for leaks in the steering system.

Describe any issues found during the check.
