500 Hourly Extension Beam Wear Pads Maintenance
Inspection and Replacement
Inspect the wear pads for wear
Measure the thickness of the wear pads in mm
Is the thickness of any wear pad 18 mm (0.709 in.) or less?
Replace all wear pads in the same plane if any pad is 18 mm or less
Hardware and Lubrication
Check torqueing of the hardware retaining the wear pad brackets in N•m
Is the torque 63 N•m (46 lbf ft)?
Adjust torque to 63 N•m (46 lbf ft) if necessary
Initial 100 Hours Lift Chains Inspection
Safety Precautions
Ensure the lift mechanism is completely lowered and engine is stopped
Secure the mast weldments and carriage into position
Are both lift chains worn?
Lubricate both lift chains
Slacken the chains by setting the forks or attachment on a support
Clean the chains to allow penetration of oil into the chain links
Remove debris, grease, and thick oil from the chains
Ensure any trapped water or condensation is removed

Preparation
Place the lift truck on a solid, level surface.
Apply the parking brake.
Lower the mast completely.
Tilt the mast completely forward.
Switch the engine OFF.
Shut down the engine.
Place blocks in front of and behind the tires to prevent movement of the lift truck.

!CAUTION: DO NOT remove the complete hydraulic oil breather cap assembly to avoid dirt from entering the hydraulic system.
Daily and Every 250 Hours
Check if the yellow indicator on the hydraulic oil breather cap is raised.
Is the indicator fully raised or almost fully raised?
If the indicator is fully raised or almost fully raised
Push the yellow indicator down to release pressure from the hydraulic oil breather cap.
Remove the hydraulic oil breather cap and clean the inside of the breather cap.
Install a new filter element and replace the hydraulic oil breather cap.
Push the yellow indicator down.
2000 Hourly Transmission Oil and Oil Filter Change
Safety Precautions
Ensure transmission is cool before starting maintenance
Prevent dirt from entering the transmission during maintenance
Dispose of lubricants and fluids according to local environmental regulations
Oil and Filter Change Procedure
Place a suitable container under the transmission
Remove and clean the drain plug
Reinstall the drain plug and torque to 45 N•m (35 lbf ft)
Remove and discard the old filter
