Review SAFETY WARNINGS and assess RESIDUAL RISKS

Enable all safety devices and wear provided DPI

Mark the intervention area and prevent unauthorized access

Lift the spool carriage to 'top' end stroke with machine in 'manual mode'

Lift the machine and rest it on a support

Ensure the machine is resting correctly to prevent the risk of crushing during the operation

Insert a 0.25 mm spacer near the screw using a thickness gauge

Adjust the distance between the magnet and the flange using the screw until slight resistance is felt on the thickness gauge

Repeat the adjustment near the other screws

WARNING! Do not refill with water in GIV-Batteries!

Measure and record the voltages of all cells or bloc batteries with the charger switched on

Measure and record the specific gravity of the electrolyte in all cells after charging has ended

Measure and record the temperature of the electrolyte in all cells after charging has ended

Request further testing and maintenance by the service department if significant changes or differences are found
