Verify the following conditions for DVJ Blowers

Are there any visible abraded areas or scratches on the coated surfaces after running?

Ensure no attempt is made to measure clearances involving coated surfaces

Wipe clean coated surfaces with a clean, dry rag if needed

Ensure no solvent or cleaner is used on coated surfaces

Check the condition of the oil seals

Is the oil seal leakage excessive?

Wipe off periodically leaked oil from surfaces

Is the piston ring seal excessively worn?

Replace piston ring seals if excessively worn

Lubrication — For Units with grease lubricated drive end

Use specified NLGI #2 premium grade aluminium complex grease, Roots P/N T20019002

Ensure no lithium based grease is used

Check for compatibility of lubricants with the gas

Ensure hydraulic pressure relief fittings are in place

Check restriction plug and metering orifice for proper function

DVJ Blowers — Cleaning, Coating & Curing Procedures

Identify the type of coating procedure

Ensure clearances and timing are set before coating new parts

Apply cleaner with a soaked rag for new uncoated surfaces

Allow cleaner to set for 1 to 2 minutes

Avoid cleaning surfaces not to be coated

Wipe off with a clean, dry rag for spot repair or renewal

Shake the can well until the ball rattles freely, then continue for at least five minutes

Ensure no foreign objects are in the blower air chamber or piping

Verify outdoor intake is free from dirt and protected by a strong screen or grille

Recheck blower leveling, drive alignment, and tightness of all mounting bolts

Adjust belt tension if belt drive is used

Turn drive shaft by hand to ensure impellers rotate freely

Ensure oil levels in the main oil sumps are correct

Is power available and are electrical overload devices installed and workable for electric motor?
