NOTE
Ensure the gas detector is powered on
Inhibit Mode Activation
Press and hold the UP button for 2 seconds to activate inhibit mode
Is the yellow indicator on?
Voltmeter Connection
Connect the positive probe of a voltmeter to the positive terminal
Connect the negative probe to the negative terminal of the output voltage monitor
Zero Calibration
Sensor Replacement
WARNING: Use only genuine replacement sensors
CAUTION: Power down or enter maintenance mode before replacing sensor
Preparation
Is the Sensepoint XCL powered down or in maintenance mode?
Connect smartphone to Sensepoint XCL via Bluetooth
Tap the Maintenance button and select Change Sensor
Manual Sensor Replacement
Press and hold the UP button for 10 seconds to enter sensor replacement mode
Pull out the gas sensor to remove it
6 Monthly Bump Testing
Preparation
Connect your smartphone with the target gas detector via Bluetooth.
Place the detector in inhibit mode using the mobile app.
Bump Test Execution
Connect a cylinder of reference gas to the target detector using a suitable tube.
Apply the bump test gas to the detector.
Did the detector pass the bump test?
Post-Test Actions
If the detector fails, was it checked and calibrated if necessary?
