Locate the small screw at the bottom of the locking plate

Loosen the screw

Loosen the locking plate and slide it over the base of the cable connector to remove the cable from the device

Remove the O-ring from the end of the cable connection

Turn the power to the host system OFF

Disconnect the base’s cable from the terminal or computer

Turn the base upside down

Check mark

Pull the connector out while maintaining pressure on the connector release clip

Replace with the new cable

Insert the connector into the opening and press firmly

Ensure the connector is keyed to go in only one way and clicks into place

Check that all tools and old cables are removed from the work area

Turn the power to the host system ON
