Connect the charging hose of the manifold valve to the low-pressure valve

Add dry nitrogen to a pressure of 200 lbs

Close both high- and low-pressure valves tightly

Leak-test flare fittings with soap bubbles

Release nitrogen if no leak is detected

Use vacuum pump to discharge air when installing the unit

Add water to the indoor unit drain pan

Verify if the water drains easily out the condensate drain hose

If water does not drain easily, describe the corrective actions taken

Connect gauge manifold and micron gauge to the service ports at the liquid and suction service valves

Connect a vacuum pump to the manifold gauge

Open the lower pressure side of the manifold valve assembly and start the vacuum pump

Ensure the switch at the high pressure side of the manifold valve assembly is closed

Monitor vacuum until 500 microns or less is achieved

Record evacuation duration in minutes

Ensure the unit is turned off and disconnected from the main power supply.

Avoid using water to wash the unit.

Use a stable standing platform during cleaning.

Open the front panel by pulling upward to about a 60-degree angle.

Remove the filter as indicated in the figure.

Clean the filter using the following methods

Dry the filter before replacing it.

Ensure the air conditioning system is turned off

Verify that the outdoor unit is accessible

Enter the total length of the piping in feet

Is the piping length greater than 25 feet?

Calculate Additional Refrigerant

Select the model of the air conditioning system

Enter the additional piping length beyond 25 feet
