Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolators are properly installed and secured

For BSQ-M Fans: Check pulleys and belt tension

Measure motor amperage and compare with nameplate rating

Is the motor operating under safe load conditions?

Are there any unusual noises during operation?

Inspect and ensure all components are secure

Adjust and tighten components as necessary

Conduct initial inspection of the fan after 30 minutes of operation

Is the fan operating satisfactorily?

Adjust and tighten belt as necessary

Disconnect power source and lock out tag

Ensure unit is non-functional (fuses removed, disconnect locked off)

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Remove dust buildup on the motor housing

Check for any signs of damage or wear on the motor

Ensure motor is properly cooled after cleaning

Ensure the unit is turned off and isolated from power source

Check for special bearings in the following conditions

Use high grade lithium base grease conforming to NLGI Grade 2 consistency

Pump grease slowly until a slight bead forms around the seal

Ensure no overpacking or contamination occurs

Is the lubrication interval appropriate for the environmental conditions?
