Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Check for oil and dust accumulation in the housing

Clean the wheel evenly to prevent imbalance

Inspect and ensure all components are secure

Adjust and tighten components as necessary

Conduct initial inspection of the fan after 30 minutes of operation

Inspect belt alignment and tension on BSQ-M unit only

Adjust and tighten belt as necessary

Adjust (tighten) belt tension after the first 24-48 hours of operation

Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolator connectors are tight and washers are in place

Is the motor pulley set for the specified RPM?

Measure motor amperage and compare with nameplate rating

Check for any unusual noises during fan operation

Ensure inlets and approaches to fan are clean and free from obstruction

Inspect fans for moisture or dirt accumulations

Record inspection and maintenance performed

Was moisture or dirt accumulation found?

Describe the source of moisture or dirt and actions taken to eliminate it
