Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolators are properly installed and secured

Is the motor pulley set for the specified RPM?

Measure current input to the motor and compare with the nameplate rating

Ensure inlets and approaches to fan are clean and free from obstruction

Conduct initial inspection of the fan after 30 minutes of operation

Inspect belt alignment and tension on BSQ-M unit only

Adjust and tighten belt tension as necessary

Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the housing

Clean the wheel evenly to prevent imbalance

Clean the housing to ensure smooth operation

Inspect and ensure all components are secure

Adjust and tighten components as necessary

Inspect fans for moisture or dirt accumulations

Inspect machined parts for rust

Was rust preventive coating removed and cleaned?

Was rust polished from surfaces?

Was Tectyl® 506 or equivalent applied to surfaces?
