Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the housing

Clean the wheel evenly to prevent imbalance

Clean the housing to ensure smooth operation

Conduct initial inspection of the fan after 30 minutes of operation

Inspect belt alignment and tension on BSQ-M unit only

Adjust and tighten belt tension as necessary

Adjust (tighten) belt tension after the first 24-48 hours of operation

Ensure the unit is turned off and locked out

Verify the environmental conditions

Use a high grade lithium base grease conforming to NLGI Grade 2 consistency

Pump grease in very slowly until a slight bead forms around the seal

Was the lubrication process free from overpacking or contamination?

Inspect the bearing for any signs of leakage or damage

Check for moisture or dirt accumulations on parts

Describe the source of moisture or dirt if found

Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolator connectors are tight and washers are in place

For BSQ-M Fans: Are the pulleys properly aligned?

For BSQ-M Fans: Measure belt deflection with moderate thumb pressure

Check motor amperage to ensure it is within safe load conditions

Observe operation for any unusual noises when the fan is started

Ensure inlets and approaches to fan are clean and free from obstruction
