Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolators are properly installed and secured

Is the adjustable motor pulley set for the specified RPM?

Measure current input to the motor and compare with the nameplate rating

Are there any unusual mechanical noises during operation?

Ensure inlets and approaches to fan are clean and free from obstruction

Inspection and Maintenance Record

Record inspection and maintenance performed

Check for moisture or dirt accumulations on parts

Describe the source of moisture or dirt, if found

Disconnect, lock, and tag power source before servicing.

Ensure the unit is non-functional by removing fuses and locking off disconnect.

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor to remove dust buildup.

Are grease fittings provided on the motor?

Is the motor temperature below 104ºF (40ºC)?

Replace grease in motors with fittings if applicable and temperature conditions are met.

Inspect and ensure all components are secure

Adjust and tighten components as necessary

Remove fuses to make unit non-functional

Inspect wheel for oil and dust accumulation

Clean the wheel evenly to prevent imbalance

Clean the housing to ensure smooth operation
