Inspect and ensure all components are secure

Adjust and tighten components as necessary

Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the housing

Clean the wheel evenly to prevent imbalance

Clean the housing to ensure smooth operation

Ensure the following conditions are met before lubrication

Is the bearing equipped with special bearings?

Use a high grade lithium base grease conforming to NLGI Grade 2 consistency

Pump grease in very slowly until a slight bead forms around the seal

Was caution employed to prevent overpacking or contamination?

Select the type of service based on environmental conditions

Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolator connectors are tight and washers are in place

For BSQ-M Fans: Are the pulleys properly aligned?

For BSQ-M Fans: Measure belt deflection with moderate thumb pressure

Check motor amperage to ensure it is within safe load conditions

Are there any unusual mechanical noises during operation?

Ensure inlets and approaches to fan are clean and free from obstruction

Disconnect power source and lock out/tag out

Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Remove dust buildup on motor housing

Is the motor free of dust and debris?

Is the motor housing intact and undamaged?
