Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the housing

Clean the wheel evenly to prevent imbalance

Clean the housing to ensure smooth operation

Remove fuses and lock off disconnect

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Remove dust buildup on the motor housing

Is the motor free from dust and debris?

Inspect belt alignment and tension on BSQ-M unit only

Adjust and tighten belt tension as necessary

Adjust (tighten) belt tension after the first 24-48 hours of operation

Check all fasteners for tightness and wheel alignment

Is the wheel rotation clockwise when viewed from the top of the fan?

Ensure all vibration isolators are properly installed and secured

For BSQ-M Fans: Check pulley alignment and belt tension

Is the adjustable motor pulley set for the specified RPM?

Measure motor amperage and compare with nameplate rating

Observe operation for any unusual noises

Ensure inlets and approaches to fan are clean and free from obstruction

Disconnect, lock, and tag power source before servicing

Ensure unit is non-functional by removing fuses and locking off disconnect

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor to remove dust buildup

Are grease fittings provided on the motor?

Is the motor temperature below 104ºF (40ºC)?

Replace grease in motors with fittings if applicable
